I can write a proficient introduction using a general them or image.
To be able to do this I must include an engaging opening (hook) and transition into my thesis
I will show this by handing in a proficient introduction.
Today we evaluated our introductions. Brave students let me put their work on the document camera so that we could evaluate them for proficiency together.
We noticed that sometimes we have trouble connecting an image to our thesis statements.
We noticed that we are great at generating images that show an aspect of our argument.
We noticed that the strong and more organized the thesis statement was, the easier it was to visualize the rest of our essay.
Those students who had their introductions checked before class was over, researched for textual evidence using the IPAD's
EVERYONE SHOULD BE RESEARCHING FOR TEXTUAL EVIDENCE THAT SUPPORTS YOUR THESIS.
My favorite movie is Judge Dredd. In the movie the main conflict is person vs. society because in the movie their are these law in forcement called Judges and Judge Joseph Dredd is part of the Judges and the Judges in the 22nd century act as police, judge, jury, and executioner. Judge Dredd and the rest of the Judges patrol the city called Mega City One to carry out the law and keep balance in the city and in the city of Mega City One every citizens is a potential criminal all it take is a tiny nudge.
